Stratifications II, 2022

Wearable textile pieces made exclusively from textile scraps and metamorphose by breaking open while wearing them and exposing their layers. They are composed of thrifted, discarded, and non-precious fabrics. Therefore, in some sense, they already have a history. Like in the first work of the Stratification series, these pieces are not made to last, and will be part of Fulmine’s performances. Made with the kind support of Ikea Foundation Switzerland.
